INFRASTRUCTURE

 

Traffic infrastructure: The road network of DAk Nong province is well-connected to the regional and national localities. There are 3 national highways (14, 14C, 28) passing by with a total length of 310 km which have been upgraded and expanded. The National Highway No.14 with 155 km going through the province, links Dak Nong with Western Highlands's Province, South-Eastern provinces and Ho Chi Minh city. National Highway No.14C with 98 km going through the province connecs the Bu Prang border gate with the Kingdom of Cambodia. The national highway No. 28 with 58 km passing by the province links Dak Nong with Lam Dong province and the other Central Coastal provinces. The national highway network has facilitated Dak Nong in expanding trade as well as improving the economy-society relationship with the Central Highland provinces, the Southern key economic zones, the Central Coastal region and Cambodia - Laos - Vietnam development triangle. In addition to that, the province also have a well-developed provincial, district and communal road networks. To date, 100% of the Province's communes have motoways to the town center.

Dak Nong's power supply, postal and telecommunication systems are stable. Currently, 100% of communes in the province are connected to the national electricity grid and postal network, meeting the needs of local developers and investors.

Electricity infrastructure: The power is widely supplied from the 110kV, 22kV and 35kV national grid serving the need of electricity for production, business and the local's daily use. in the industrial zones and parks, power is stably  supplied. Rural power network is also being renovated, upgraded and expanded to remote regions. 100% of hamlets have access to electricity now.

Water supply, grainage and irrigation infrastructure: there are nealy 190 irrigation works (lakes, dams, pumping stations) in Dak Nong province. The irrigation projects in the province have basically met the requirements for irrigation of nearly 80% of the total crops. The supply of drinking water and development of sewage system are increasingly attracting investment. Most of residential areas in the towns are provided with clean water. The province is investing in construction of wastewater collecting and treatment system in urban areas and industrial cluster.


Postal and telecommunications infrastructure: The telecommunication network of Dak Nong province has been improved in both quantity and quality. There are postoffices and postal outlet in most localities in the province which provide a variety of services. 100% of the communal center areas have connection to landline  and cell phones. The service of 3G mobile telecommunication service, 3G mobile internet, the broadband internet service (ADSL) and television over internet protocol (IPTV) etc. have been implemented to meet domestic and international communication needs.


Infrastructure for industrial clusters: In recent years, Dak Nong province has been investing in construction of physical infrastructure for Tam Thang and Nhan Co industrial park, and the physical infrastructure  for other industrial cluster including Dak Ha, Dak Song, Krong No, Quang Tam, Thuan An and Gia Nghia to attract investors.
- Tam Thang industrial park: Located at Nhan Co commune, Dak R'lap district with an area of 106/8 ha. The prioritized projects calling for investment are mainly bauxite mining, alumina refining and aluminum production, including production of packaging, chemical, mechanics and mechanical engineering. Besides, there are some other encouraged sectors such as research on plant testing, argo-forestry processing industry etc.
