The leader of Dak Nong Province informed about the second Vietnam brocade culture festival and activities to attract visitors.
On the morning of Nov 10, in Ha Noi, Dak Nong Province, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism help a press conference on the 2nd Vietnam Brocade Culture Festival, Tourism promotion and calling conference in 2020 and received the honor of Dak Nong UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARK.
According to Ms Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Vice chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's committee, Dak Nong is long- Standing land of ethnic minorities in M'nong, Ma, Ede… stretching over a large area. In order to honor the cultural values of traditional craft villages that are still handed down to this day, contribute to preserving, promoting and honoring the cultural identity of the ethnic groups of Vietnam; The People's Committee of Dak Nong province in coordination with the ministries and central agencies to organize the 2nd Vietnam Brocade Culture Festival in 2020. This is a diversified and rich cultural - tourist activity, occasion to promote, introduce and boldly depict the cultural - tourist imprint in the hearts of domestic and foreign tourists; create favorable conditions for artists, artists, actors of ethnic minorities in the province in particular and the whole country in general to have the opportunity to exchange, learn and exchange experiences to improve and the effectiveness of the brocade weaving profession. "With the event that Dak Nong Geopark is recognized by UNESCO as a Global Geopark, the province will exploit the unique geological and geomorphological values, combined with the typical traditional cultures of 40 ethnic groups, living in the area of creating typical tourism products. Currently, Dak Nong province has identified 44 destinations, forming 3 tourist routes with the theme "The Land of Tones". This is considered as a tourism product with particularly, unique key role to attract tourists to explore, and research the unique values of Dak Nong land. According to the Organizing Committee, the 2nd Vietnam Brocade Cultural Festival will be held on a national scale from November 24 to 29, 2020. The event includes a series of main activities: Opening ceremony of the 2nd Vietnam Handicraft Culture Festival-2020 and ceremony to receive the title of UNESCO Global Geopark in Dak Nong; brocade cultural space exhibition; experiment with Vietnamese brocade cultural space; performing "Fashion Show - Brocade"; opening and closing the space of Vietnamese Brocade Culture; conference to promote and call for investment in tourism in 2020. The 2nd Vietnam Brocade Culture Festival in 2020 in Dak Nong province will be held nationwide, with the participation of artisans and actors from countries: Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore.
