On August 1, 2022, in Gia Nghia city, Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee cooperated with RMIT University to organize a training conference on Digital Transformation for local authorities, businesses and people towards a digital country overview. The training conference was divided into 3 contents, including: The Digital Transformation Conference for the government was held in the morning of August 1st, 2022; Digital transformation conference for businesses was held on the afternoon of August 1st, 2022. The digital transformation conference for citizens was held in the morning of August 2nd, 2022.
The Digital Transformation Training Conference for the government was held this morning (August 1st) with the participation of more than 150 delegates who are members of the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee; leaders and officials of agencies from provincial to commune levels; member of the assisting team of the Digital Transformation Steering Committee in the province.

At the conference, the delegates listened to Associate Professor Nguyen Quang Trung - Dean of the Faculty of Management, RMIT University; Master Vo Thi Trung Trinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City conveyed the contents of Digital Transformation to the government: Distinguishing between e-government and digital government; the importance of digital government, digital government; why did most digital projects in the public sector fail ?; 7 principles of implementing digital government, digital government; the relationship between digital government and investment environment; experience in building digital government in Ho Chi Minh City; challenges in building a digital government; successful lessons about Digital Government in the world. In addition, the participants of the Conference also exchanged, discussed and shared experiences on issues that related to digital transformation of the government.

In the opening speech, Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that digital transformation played an important role in promoting socio-economic development, ensuring security and defense of the country. Therefore, it was necessary to accelerate and strengthen digital transformation in the province in the coming time. He suggested that the participants of the Training Conference participate seriously, because this was very new knowledge; agencies, units and localities promote the role of leaders in digital transformation. The Department of Information and Communications have to connect the Provincial Youth Union to organize green summer, invite students from digital-savvy universities to propagate and guide digital transformation at digital transformation groups in community.
