Dak Nong organized Digital Transformation Day 2022

On November 11th, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province organized the announcement of the Digital Transformation Day of Dak Nong Province in 2022, evaluated the result of Resolution 09/TU after 1 year of implementation and the opening of Dak Nong Intelligent Operations Center (IOC). The announcement ceremony was held online in the Provincial Convention Center and at 80 bridge points of districts and communes around the province.

Attending directly at the Provincial Convention Center, there were Mr. Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee; Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, General Director of  Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group; representative of Viettel Military Industry - Telecommunications Group; leaders of Department of Information and Communication of Binh Phuoc and Dak Lak ; leaders of provincial departments, agencies and mass organizations; leaders of digital technology enterprises inside and outside the province; civil servants, officials, armed forces and more than 1,200 delegates attended at 80 online bridge points.

In the opening speech, Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: in 2022, with the strong participation of sectors and levels and the companionship of business community and People, Dak Nong has synchronously implemented many solutions to promote digital transformation. Therefore, the perception of digital transformation of all levels of Party committees, authorities, officials, party members, civil servants, public employees, businesses and people in the province has changed a lot; investment in information and communication infrastructure has been increased and its operation is stable and effective; important information systems are deployed synchronously, 4-level interconnection; electronic documents have replaced paper documents in State agencies; completed the construction of the provincial Intelligent Operations Center. The Digital Transformation Index (DTI) of Dak Nong in 2021 ranked the 41st out of 63 provinces and cities, up 13 places compared to 2020.

With the goal of choosing difficult jobs, doing works of 5 years in 1 year, he hoped that in the next time, digital transformation will be a breakthrough solution in socio-economic development of the province, an opportunity to shorten the gap between Dak Nong and the other cities and provinces. At the same time, through digital transformation, people and businesses of our province, wherever they are, they can quickly and easily access public services, digital applications, digital platforms, provided timely information and service, contributing for Dak Nong quick and sustainable development in the direction of green, harmony, identity, improve the quality of life and happiness index for people according to the message and theme throughout this year's activities is "Digital Transformation for a Better Life".

Giving speech to welcome Dak Nong Provincial Digital Transformation Day, Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, General Director of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunication Group said that participating in national digital transformation with a leading role, in the past time, VNPT Group has been accompanying with Government, ministries, agencies and many localities around the country in the development, implementation and operation of major, important and foundational programs and projects on Digital Transformation.

 

Being accompanied in the digital transformation process of Dak Nong is both a pride and a great responsibility for VNPT Group. With the desire to have a long-term and extensive cooperation with the province, VNPT Group commits resources in more comprehensive implementation of digital government solutions, promoting the development of the digital economy and appropriate digital society. with the reality and requirements of Dak Nong province. VNPT Group will continue to mobilize the best team of experts to successfully implement the cooperation agreement with the Provincial People's Committee as well as digital transformation tasks. At the same time, the Group will also prioritize the introduction and implementation of the most advanced digital transformation services, products and solutions in the digital transformation process, ensuring close adherence to the transformation plan. as well as the socio-economic development orientation of the province.

In the closing speech, Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested all levels and sectors, in 2023 and the next years to focus on 11 priority areas for digital transformation according to Resolution No. 09/NQ-TU including agriculture, new countryside, health, education, tourism, finance - banking... so that Dak Nong province has a breakthrough development in all fields.  

 

One of the immediate tasks is that launching people to install, use, and interact with the government on the Dak Nong - C application, and at the same time, this is also a long-term task to form people's habit of using technology, contributing to speed up the digital transformation process. It is necessary to identify each cadre, civil servant, public employee, member of the community digital technology team as a digital citizen, and a soldier on the propaganda front about digital transformation. All levels of sectors urgently build the database of the industry, which is the input source for the IOC, providing "correct, sufficient, clean and alive" information to ensure the sustainable and effective operation of IOC Center, along with ensuring information security and funding in the coming time.
