VGP – April 24 marks the 8th consecutive day without new COVID-19 infection case in Viet Nam, according to the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Of the figure, 224 people have been cleared of the virus, accounting for over 83%.
The current active cases are being treated at 7 hospitals across the nation, of whom 2 have tested negative for the coronavirus twice and 15 others have tested negative for the first time.
Despite encouraging outcomes in the fight against COVID-19, the Ministry of Health still asked citizens to continue staying at home and only go out if really necessary.
Citizens are also encouraged to regularly wash hands with soap or sanitizer, wear face mask at public places, keep houses clean and maintain regular contacts with grassroots medical staff./.
