• On 7 November 2018, Dak Nong Department of Industry and Trade held a Press conference to announce the organization of Viet Nam - Cambodia International Trade Fair 2018 for the celebration of 15th aniversary of Dak Nong province's establishment.

  Overview of the Press conference

The Fair organized by Vietnam Trade Promotion Department - Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam in cooperation with Dak Nong Department of Industy and Trade is scheduled to take place from 13 to 19 December 2018 at the Floating island of the Central Lake of Gia Nghia town, Dak Nong province.

Vietnam - Cambodia International Trade is organized with the size of more than 400 booths from domestic and foreign enterprises. Its space was divided into 4 sections including: exhibition section (about 100 booths) to introduce the achievements on socio-economic development of Dak Nong, other localities of Vietnam and other countries; the products display section ( about 150 booths) to display agricultural, industrial, homecraft products; general exhibiition section (about 200 booths); and raw space section for enterprises' other demands.

The main activities featured by the Fair include: Business networking conference, retail and whole sales promotion activities; Trade promotion activities; Contract signing ceremony for business collaboration, technology transfer; Music shows every night.

According to Mr Bui Huy Thanh - Head of Dak Nong Department of Industry and Trade, this Fair aims to promote the "connecting" role of   Dak Nong  province in the East = West Economic Corridor and the Vietnam - Lao - Cambodia Development Triangle   Area, create an important opportunity for local and oversea enterprises to advertise their brands, trade and exchange experiences, search for partners and develop business cooperation, to expand their markets, exchange technological advances inproduction and cultural diversity. The Fair also strengthens the cooperation between Vietnam - Cambodia and regional countires. Also, it its an important trade promotion activity to promote the socio-economic achievements of the province as well as of other domestic and overseas regions.

The Opening  ceremony will by solemnly held on the Trade Fair main stage with the attendance of the 2 countries's leaders at 19:30 pm, Dec 13th, 2018.
